Ordering Online
There are four easy steps to purchasing with us online.
Step 1. Add your items to the shopping basket.
Step 2. Login - Members use your Member number or registered email address and password and non-members use your profile login number or registered email address and password.
Step 3. Confirm Order
Step 4. Receipt.
When you place and order with us online you need to login to place your order. The options for Members and non-members are:
- If you are a Member and have shopped with us online - login using your Member number OR registered email address and password.
- If you are a Member but new to shopping online - a profile has been created for every Co-op Member please contact Webhelp to retrieve your profile details to shop online.
- If you are a non-member and have shopped with us - use your login number OR registered email address and password.
- If you are a non-member and new to shopping with us online - create a login by following the prompts at purchasing step 2.
No. You do not need to be a Member to order online. However you must first create a login in order to purchase items online. Customers who are not Co-op Members will be charged the RRP. Learn more about the features and benefits of Co-op Membership.
Yes, download a Mail Order Form and post with your cheque or money order.
This service is not currently available. If you would like to collect from a store contact the store directly to check availability and if the products can be put aside. Due to limited space this service may not be available for text books at the start of each semester. Contact your nearest store.

The Co-op 'W' number has been replaced. You now login using your registered email address and password. If you are a Co-op Member you login using your 7 digit Co-op Member number (if your Member number has less than 7 digits please pre-fill with '0's). Learn more.
You will be prompted to enter either your login number (if you are a Member this is your Member number) or the email address which you used when you first registered with Co-op online store. If you cannot remember which email address you used or if you haven't set your secret password, please email Co-op Online customer service for further assistance or jump to the Password Recovery service.
You can only register using your Member number once. You will need to have your password reset through Co-op Online customer service. Email us.
Login to the Co-op website and click on My Profile link visible at the top of each page. My Profile allows you to update your details and view the details of your last transaction. To update your Member details choose Update your Membership under the Membership tab.
All online orders require full payment up front. This includes special orders, pre-orders and available items. Co-op online accepts payment via the following credit cards: Amex, Mastercard, Visa and Diners Club. Payments by EFTPOS will not be accepted.
CSC and CVV is a security feature for credit or debit card transactions, giving increased protection against credit card fraud. For Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club credit cards, the CSC/CVV is the three-digit value printed on the signature panel on the back following the credit card account number. For American Express, it is the 4-digit value printed on the front of the card above the credit card account number.
The Co-op has free shipping on all orders delivered within Australia by Australia Post. Special Delivery services are available on request. We also deliver worldwide. Learn more.
The availability listed on each product detail page tells you if we have at least one unit of the item you wish to order in one of our fulfilment centres. Read our definitions of Availability.
Yes. The Co-op sells books and software sourced from Australian suppliers at the Recommended Retail Price or lower. Learn more.
We are happy to refund unwanted items that are returned to us providing they meet the guidelines in our Returns and Refund policy. Learn more.
If you know the title details you can use the Quick Search box located at the top right of every page or, for a more advanced search try using the General Search link. If you can't find the book you are looking for using our Search feature you can email our Online Customer Service and our staff will research the title and advise you of the current price and availability.
The word 'Remainder' in the title of a book means it is a Sale Book and will have a cheaper RRP and Member Price than other editions of the same title. These books cannot be ordered if they have a status of 'Currently not in stock'.
No. Second-hand textbooks can be ordered through our partner Textbook Exchange
No. You can order out-of-print titles through BibliOz. If you are a Co-op Member make sure you let them know so that you can save on the processing fee.
Membership
If you have ever joined as a Co-op Member and have not withdrawn your membership, drop into any Co-op store where our staff will look up your Member Number, or send us an email with your full name and address when you registered with us. Email us.
Your Member Card will be mailed to you and will arrive within 2 weeks of joining. You can still purchase online or in-store and receive your Member Pricing by quoting your Co-op Member Number.

Replacement cards requested via a Membership Amendment Form in-store may take up to 3 weeks to reach you. Requests via email generally take 10 working days.
The Co-op offers several specialist eNewsletters including a General bi-monthly newsletter full of the latest product information on new and upcoming releases as well as competitions and exclusive value offers for Members. You can subscribe to these newsletters when you update your Member details. Login to Update your Details under the Membership tab on the Co-op Website and sign up under 'Member Services'.
These coupons are special in-store offers. We are working on special online offers for our Members who shop online.
When you joined the Co-op Bookshop you purchased shares in the University Co-operative Bookshop Limited - a not-for-profit co-operative. You can sell your shares back to the Co-op and receive a refund for the amount you paid when you joined. To do this you need to have been a Member for more than 2 years. Download and complete a Membership Amendment Form.
No. When you join the Co-op Bookshop you are actually purchasing shares in the University Co-operative Bookshop Limited - a not-for-profit co-operative. In order to continue offering the best possible range, service and pricing, Member benefits are restricted to the individual who joins.
Yes, a transfer of membership can be done using a Membership Amendment Form. There is a $20 Administration fee payable for transfers.
Students, Lecturers and Text Lists
We have an online form dedicated to lecturers to submit their course details and requirements. Our stores on campus also have dedicated resources to help ensure that your students get their textbook requirements. Learn more
You can use our Text-List Search facility online or use our Store Locator to contact your campus store.
This is a free service for students studying in Australia and is supported by the Co-op. Learn more.
A title may be published in hardback or paperback, or may come with an online access card for online content, or be bundled in different pack combinations. Use our text list search to find out which edition/pack has been set for your course. If your course isn't listed in the drop down, contact your lecturer or course convenor and ask for the ISBN of the edition/pack you need.
Gift Vouchers
Yes. Co-op Gift Vouchers can be purchased in-store for any value. Unfortunately Co-op Gift Vouchers are not redeemable online.
The Co-op is implementing a new computer system and replacing our paper Gift Vouchers with new Gift Voucher cards.
Paper Gift Vouchers can be redeemed at all Co-op Bookshops. During the implementation of a new computer system our Gift Voucher cards can only be used at selected stores. Email us to find out where you can redeem your Gift Voucher Card.

An eBook (short for electronic book), also known as a digital book, is electronic text that forms the digital media equivalent of a conventional printed book. eBooks are usually read on dedicated hardware devices known as eReaders or eBook devices. Personal computers and some cell phones can also be used to read eBooks.
An ISBN is an International Standard Book Number (ISBN), a 13-digit number that uniquely identifies books and book-like products published internationally. ISBN's can be used to search the Co-op database.
